St Peter’s is a vibrant Church family which welcomes everyone, gathers together around the altar, is nourished by the Eucharist and sent out to love and serve the communities in which we live and work.

Every donation – no matter what size – is truly appreciated and helps to serve all those who make up the St Peter’s family and local community.

There are a variety of ways to give:

Regular Giving

If you wish to support St Peter’s, joining our parish giving scheme is the best means of giving as we are able to include your kind gift in our annual budget, which helps us to plan our spending and the activities we are able to undertake. Regular giving can be as little or large as you are able to afford –  a weekly offer of the price of a cup of coffee is hugely appreciated! To sign up to the parish giving scheme and for more details, see our parish giving page here. For details of how to set up a standing order directly, please get in touch.

Donations

You can give one-off donations via our parish giving page here, using the contactless donation machines in Church, or by contacting us if you would like to discuss making a donation for a particular project or area of our parish life.

Legacies

Writing a will and reviewing it regularly is important for all of us and is one of the ways we exercise good stewardship of the things God has entrusted to us. (It’s strongly advised to consult a solicitor when making a will, a list of solicitors is available via the Law Society.) We are very grateful for all those who consider including a charitable gift to St Peter’s  in their will in order to continue to support our mission and life. More information about leaving a gift to St Peter’s as a legacy, including a suggested form of words can be found here.

Future Projects

We are entirely reliant on donations and the small amount of income we are able to generate through fundraising and hiring the various spaces which make up our Church building.

Your regular and one-off gifts enable our worship and help us to continue to grow our mission to the whole of De Beauvoir and the local community.

We have exciting hopes for the next stage of our life at St Peter’s as we emerge from the pandemic to improve:

inclusivity and accessibility – making our building more accessible through a new disabled access doorway and improved audio-visual system

community use – preserving our historic building at the heart of our community, and increasing the capacity and facilities for those we are able to welcome and host

engaging young people and the whole diversity of our parish – seeking to build our team to increase our capacity to engage across every age group and area of our parish

Your donations are vital to enable us to continue and expand these areas and the whole of our parish life. If you’re interested in supporting us financially in any or all of these areas please do get in touch. Thank you for your generosity!
