MAKE IT YOUR NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION TO GET INVOLVED!!

And help us as we provide shelter, food and companionship and a solution for homeless adults in Islington and Hackney.

St Peter’s works with CARIS to offer shelter for 15-20 individuals who are in the process of trying to better their situation.  This year’s Shelter resulted in over 30 adults moving into their own accommodation, finding work and generally looking forward to a better life.

For anyone who would like to know more about volunteering roles, we are hosting a drop in session this coming Monday the 27th of November in the crypt’s café space 7-8pm.  If you would like to be involved in some way, come and meet Ruth and Karen.  There are loads of ways you can make a difference.  Please share this with others you think could be interested.

DONATE YOUR TIME

Our shelter is run entirely by volunteers from the wider community around St Peters.  If you could spare a few hours once a week, or a month, or at some point while the shelter is open, you will be making a big difference.

Our volunteers are from all walks of life.  From teachers to radiologists, builders to IT consultants, retired or studying, the common ground is the desire to help homeless adults to get back into society.
