LET US PRAY …Everlasting God be with us in this time of prayer and help us to feel your presence. Mindful of the Commandments that you gave to Moses we pray that you would be worshiped above everything. At this time of the worldwide Pandemic we especially pray for the leaders of our countries, states, and cities, as they seek to help manage the challenges of the economic impact of the virus, in travel, manufacturing, hospitality, energy or so many other industries. May you be our hope, our security, our confidence, and our future.
Lord, meet us in the silence….Hear our prayer
Faithful God we pray for the church throughout the world and especially for our Diocese here in Hackney. We give thanks too for all Clergy who live in our midst or often Pray on our behalf and bring a refreshing diversity to our worship.
We Pray for our faithful congregation who will start attending Church next Sunday and for those who worship from their homes; give thanks that all are one in the Spirit.
Lord, meet us in the silence….Hear our prayer
We Pray that school pupils and teachers returning to school tomorrow will be kept safe and able to learn despite restricted conditions.
LORD we Pray for Foodbanks in our Diocese, thanking you God for their amazing work, for the generosity of those who donate, and that those who rely on Foodbanks will experience something of your love.
Lord, meet us in the silence ….Hear our prayer
We pray for our communities and give thanks for all that our loved ones do for us, for their love, their sacrifice, and their care. We seek your blessing upon our homes and our families. We remember all who are homeless or have no one to care for them. God be their healer, comforter and protector, be their strength, shield and provision, be their security, safety and close companion to respond with love in action.
Lord, meet us in the silence ….Hear our prayer
Gracious God, we pray for all who are in pain or are suffering at this time. We remember especially those who are facing long or incurable illnesses. We pray for them, and anyone we know who are in any kind of need during this time.
Merciful God, we pray for those we love but see no longer. Grant them your peace, let light perpetual shine upon them, may they rest in peace and rise in glory. We remember before you God those who have recently died especially Janet Budd and Amanda Davies.
Lord Jesus, you give us your love and your grace to do great things. Let our light shine out for all to see by turning to those who call for our help.
Merciful Father, accept these prayers for the sake of your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Amen
