Service of Requiem for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

On Sunday September 11th St Peter’s offered a Service of Requiem for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in church this Sunday 11th September, at 6pm. This was an opportunity for our parish community and neighbourhood to come together and give thanks for the life of the Queen.

The Book of Condolence remains to sign at St Peter’s every day from 9am to 5.30pm. There is also opportunity to light a candle to light a candle as a symbol of prayer for her Majesty’s repose. At the request of the Palace, at noon on Friday, St Peter’s bell tolled until 1pm, along with every other bell in the land.
