As children of our heavenly Father, who knows us so well and loves us completely
Let us pray.
Almighty God
As we start our journey through Lent, we pray for a deepening personal faith. We pray for discernment and wisdom. In our daily lives and obligations, we ask you to guide us in making wise choices that have a healthy impact on our community and our planet.
Lord hear us
Lord graciously Hear us
Heavenly Father
We pray for the church of St Peter De Beauvoir, for Father Simon and all the congregation. We pray that everyone who passes by or comes into St Peter’s, receive your blessing of peace.
Lord hear us
Lord graciously hear us
Father, with you all things are possible. We pray for all those who suffer, those whose lives are in chaos or despair. Today, we pray especially for the people of Ukraine. We pray for an end to conflict, and for a commitment to peace, in that region and across the world.
Lord Hear us
Lord graciously hear us
Almighty God
We pray for those we love, for those we see each day and for those we miss.
Help us to cherish one another this Lent, as we live the loving way of your commands.
Lord Hear us
Lord graciously hear us
Heavenly Father, we commend to your eternal presence those who have recently died, and those whose anniversary falls at this time. We pray especially for the souls of Abel Esien, Joan Edmonds, Henry James Ayton, Jennie David, Edwin Davis and Jack Webb.
Rest eternal grant unto them O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon them.
Merciful Father, accept these prayers
For the sake of your Son
Our Saviour Jesus Christ.
AMEN
