Acoustic Sunday
7th February 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
No need for your spirits drop as the festive season ends, because Acoustic Sunday returns to the Crypt Cafe at St. Peter’s Church, with more fantastic live music and friendliness, on Sunday 7th February.
Donation-only entry ensures that no-one is excluded, food and drinks are sensibly priced, the music is amazing, the audience listens, the musicians stay and chat and the atmosphere is relaxed and party-like.
The music, as always, is of both the thinking and enjoying kind and begins with up and coming open mic musicians (email music@soundadviceuk.com to secure your place) followed by carefully chosen, seasoned music professionals, this month including Balabustah, Emily Davies, Storm the Palace, Franc Cinelli and Johnny Fishborn
Master of Ceremonies this month will be James Bennison, who won an award for best stand up at the Brighton Fringe 2015 and is now well on his way to stand-up stardom, will add verbal drama and humour to the event.
Street food concept 2 Fingers, conceived by chef Rick Panesar, will be creating several varieties of ‘The Ultimate Fish Finger Sandwich’ for you as well special veggie and dessert offerings. And our ‘reasonably priced pop-up bar’ will be serving up a variety of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks,
As always, media professional volunteers, hopefully with the support of young trainees, will film the performances and give free, high-quality videos to the musicians for their websites (and out YouTube) and don’t forget to look out for our Sound Technician Ed of Recap Audio who’ll be strolling round the room perfecting the guitar levels from his table.
All an afternoon, it will be an afternoon to go down in the 2016 records as enjoyable, affordable, interesting and memorable so we’ll see you at the Crypt from 2pm!
