Compline

Sunday, June 2 at 6:00pm
Sunday, July 7 at 6:00pm
Sunday, September 1 at 6:00pm

The ancient office of Compline derives its name from a Latin word completorium meaning ‘completion.’ It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. We invite you to join us for Compline at St. Peter de Beauvoir—a twenty minute service of sung prayer, reflection, meditation, and silence.

Compline will take place the first Sunday of each month at 6:00pm in the sanctuary of St Peter’s. All are welcome to join us.

Compline Choir

St Peter’s is looking to invite experienced singers to join a new choir as part of our Compline service. We will rehearse unaccompanied, and invite the Compline congregation to join us the same way. We plan to sing both the standards of English church music as well as choral music of other traditions and locales to create a unique and special Compline experience.

Rehearsal will take place from 4:30-5:45pm before the 6:00pm service, with no additional rehearsal. Annotated scores and folders will be provided. Join us!
