Writing a will is important for all of us. Setting our affairs in order is one way in which we exercise good stewardship of the things God has entrusted to us.

Making a will and updating it regularly is the only way to ensure your wishes are fulfilled, giving you peace of mind that you can continue to support the family, friends and causes that you love. It’s strongly advised to consult a solicitor when making a will, a list of solicitors is available via the Law Society.

As good practice, we encourage everyone to make a will and review it regularly. We would be hugely grateful if you would consider including a charitable gift to St Peter’s in order to continue to support our mission and life.

If you would like to speak discretely about leaving a gift in your will, please contact our stewardship officer, Margaret Glover.

A form of suggested wording for a will including a gift to St Peter’s:

“I give _____% of my residuary estate OR I give the sum of £_____ (pounds only) free of all taxes to the Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Peter de Beauvoir Town in the Diocese of London for its general purposes, and I declare that the receipt of an officer of the Parochial Church Council shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors and trustees.”
