Maundy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper, Footwashing & Vigil before the Altar of Repose

This service recalls Jesus’ washing the feet of his disciples as a sign of the humility of love to which we are called. We give thanks for the institution of the Eucharist in the last supper. Suddenly, we re-enact the abandonment of Jesus in the Garden. The Sacrament of his Body is placed in the altar of repose. The Church is stripped of all hangings and we are invited to stay and watch until Midnight. Do come and go throughout the evening as you are able.
