Intercessions
From Boachie Dankwah
Dear Lord, we come to you today in prayer of transformation. We pray for spiritual and physical growth that will calm our fears and restore our faith we lose in you in times of troubles and temptations.
Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer
We pray for all heads of states and all political leaders especially Her Majesty the Queen who has reigned over her country for 70 years and she will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee this year. May their constructive decisions they make transform the lives of the people they serve. We also pray for all our spiritual leaders especially Fr Simon to lead their people in unity, love, and peace.
Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer
Prince of Peace, we pray for peace among nations. We bring before you the political tension in Ukraine. May your peace that surpasses all understanding calms the tension in Ukraine to enable world leaders to reach peaceful resolution. We also bring to mind economic crisis in Afghanistan making millions of Afghans facing starvation. May the people of Afghanistan receive the mercy of daily bread.
Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer
We pray for those whose lives have been impacted because of the surge inflation across the world. Our thoughts are with the destitute who had to spend the winter months without adequate shelter.
Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer
Heavenly Father, we lift up all those who are sick in body, mind or spirit. Give them the hope and courage they need today and every day. Comfort them and those who care for them.
Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer
We commit the souls of recently departed into eternal glory and we remember those whose anniversary of their death falls at this time, namely, Segun Akingbade, Amanda Davies, Janet Budd, and Greta Hinds.
Rest eternal grant unto the O Lord,
And may thy light perpetual shine upon them.
Dear Lord, we thank you for listening to our prayers this day and always.
Merciful Father,
Accept these prayers for the sake of your son our Saviour Jesus Christ Amen.
